Make a fall favorite, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, in your own kitchen! This DIY specialty coffee drink will save you a few extra bucks, and is made with wholesome, low sugar ingredients. I've also included an option to make it dairy free!
This recipe might completely rock your world if you love specialty coffee drinks. Not only is it lower in sugar and made with wholesome ingredients, but I have also included options for how to tweak the recipe just to your liking.
INGREDIENTS FOR PUMPKIN CREAM COLD BREW
Heavy Whipping Cream: The main ingredient that makes this drink so creamy and delicious. To make it dairy free, use coconut cream.
Pumpkin Puree: Much healthier and tastier than using artificial pumpkin flavoring. You can tweak how much puree you use to your taste. Some people really love a bold pumpkin flavor and others prefer just a hint of flavor. Also, make sure its NOT pumpkin pie filling!
Maple Syrup: This is one option for sweetening your coffee, but you could also use coconut sugar, monk fruit, or agave as a healthy sweetener. Of course, regular sugar is also an option.
Pumpkin Pie Spice: Use this if you really love pumpkin and want to boost the pumpkin flavor. Otherwise, try cinnamon.
Vanilla Extract
Cold Brew: Organic Chameleon Cold Brew is my personal favorite because of its bold flavor.

HOW TO MAKE PUMPKIN CREAM COLD BREW COFFEE
Combine the whipping cream, pumpkin puree, sweetener, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract in a glass bowl or jar. The key part to making this cold foam whipped and light, is WHISKING. I have used this handheld electric whisker for years, and absolutely love it.
But, if you don't have one on hand, you could also use a mixer. Since this is a small batch of cold foam, it might be a little messy to use a full size mixer for whisking, but it will still get the job done. The point is that you are adding air into the mixture, to make it light and airy.
SUGGESTIONS FOR TWEAKING THE SWEETNESS AND FLAVOR
Try not to just lick the amazing cold foam, and forget about the coffee!
If you prefer a sweeter drink and love pumpkin, add the following to your cold brew before dolloping the Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam on top:
- cream
- pumpkin pie spice
- sweetener
I prefer to leave my coffee black, and then let some of the Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam seep into the cold brew once its on top. That's plenty of sweetness for me!
